So You Want to be an Entrepreneur

If your high schooler has ever dreamed of starting their own business, or you believe they have an entrepreneurial inclination, this class is for them! So You Want to Be an Entrepreneur is all about hands-on learning, creative problem-solving, and actually building something real.
Throughout the course, students will:
Develop a unique business idea
Learn the basics of branding, marketing, and messaging
Design logos, choose brand colors, and craft an elevator pitch
Understand how to price, sell, and market their products or services
Get comfortable pitching ideas with confidence
Walk away with a real, actionable business plan
We’ll be reading from books like The $100 Startup and Atomic Habits, and working through practical, manageable assignments—nothing overwhelming, but all designed to help them apply what they’re learning in a meaningful way.
By the end of the year, my goal is that they won’t just know about business—they’ll have a real plan they can run with if they choose to. I couldn’t be more excited about the value this class will bring!
