Course Description

This Life Skills for Teens class is a practical, faith-centered course designed to equip students with real-world tools they will use long after graduation. Using the Life Skills for Teens Workbook, students will build confidence in areas such as budgeting, meal planning, clothing care, car maintenance, organization, and time management. We will also focus on communication skills, writing professional emails and thank-you notes, job readiness, interview preparation, and workplace etiquette. Lessons include goal setting, problem-solving, decision-making, and developing healthy routines that support responsibility and independence. Students will practice teamwork, leadership, and character development while learning how to manage stress and handle everyday challenges wisely. This class is geared towards 10th, 11th and 12th graders and prepares teens not just for adulthood, but for a life of purpose, service, and strong personal stewardship.
